Prudy Taylor Board alias Prudence Foster      

Prudy’s most recent novel is Devil Eyes, a horror novel published in 2011 by Wings ePress. Her previous novel, A Grave Injustice, was a paranormal mystery published in hard cover Archebooks. Archebooks also published Murder a la Carte, the first in the Recipes for Murder series. Murder a la Carte was published in hard cover by Archebooks and then as paperback by Harlequin Worldwide Mysteries.

Prudy has had two previous horror novels published: Blood Legacy from PocketBooks and The Vow from Leisure Books. She has just completed Devil Eyes, the first in the Deadly Visions trilogy. Prudy is also the author of 101 Tips on Writing and Selling Your first novel. In addition, she has lectured and conducted writing workshops throughout the United States and in Canada.

She has had 23 books published to date including Beyond the Avenue: The History of Belfair Plantation, Bluffton, SC: Where the Eagles Soar: The History of HarbourRidge Yacht and Country Club Stuart, FL; The History of Oceanside Country Club, Ormond Beach, FL.  Her first, Lee County: A Pictorial History, was published by Donning in 1985. Recent books for Donning include The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, Myrtle Beach, SC; The History of Dania Beach, Florida: 100 Years of Pioneer Spirit; The History of Barry University, Miami, Florida; One Man’s Vision: The History of the Port Royal Club, Naples, Florida; Venice (Florida) Through the Years; The Renaissance Vinoy, St. Petersburg’s (Florida) Crown Jewel; and Mending Minds, Healing Hearts: The History of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches.

Prudy Taylor Board is a native of Florida and a graduate of Stetson University, Deland, FL and  the University of Florida. A resident of Delray Beach, Florida, she works as an editor with Taylor and Francis Publishing in Boca Raton. She is a member of the Horror Writers of America and Mensa.
